About Simple Cremation Options
Simple, or "direct" cremation is a cremation with no ceremonies or memorial events.
If you want to arrange a simple cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are alternative containers and other cremation containers, including containers made of wood, containers made of fiberboard, and containers made of other composite materials.
Our charges for direct cremation (without ceremony) include the following:
- Transportation of the deceased into our care.
- Services of Funeral Director and staff.
- Meeting with Funeral Arranger and family.
- Completion and filing of necessary documentation, including Cremation Permit & Death Certificate, in accordance with California state statutes
- Refrigeration (no embalming)
- Cremation Process
- Cremation Fee
