Cheryl Burris Ryan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Cheryl Jean Burris Ryan, 72 of Apple Valley, California went to heaven at St. Mary's Hospital on June 19, 2022, with her sister and niece by her side. Cheryl as born November 11, 1949, Oroville, California to Buddy and Alvetta Burris. Cheryl spent many years learning and teaching many types of dances at Etchart Dance Studio. Cheryl held the title of Miss Oroville and Miss Butte County while attending Oroville High School Class of 1967. She went on to attend Weaner Airline Training School in Kansas City, Missouri. Upon graduation she landed a job as a reservation agent in San Francisco, California. Cheryl opened 'Happy Wanderer' Travel Agency in Victorville, California, where she traveled to many great destinations. Cheryl spent the last fifty years living in Victorville and Apple Valley, Cailfornia. Cheryl was preceded in death by her partner of 25 years, Jim Morgan of Apple Valley, California and her mother Alvetta, father Buddy and stepbrother Rodney Osborne of Arizona. Cheryl is survived by her sister Debbie Wing of Oroville, California, nephew Derek Woodcock of Honolulu, Hawaii, niece Tarissa, great niece Stormi, stepmother Rosie Burris of Anderson, California and stepbrother Sam Osborne of Redding, California. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oroville, California
