Edward Wayne Kincaid

Edward Wayne Kincaid 89 years "YOUNG". Born on July 16, 1935 in Keokuk, Iowa. Entered into heaven on July 25, 2024 in Victorville, CA. Ed had been having a series of health issues this past year, that included Kidney Disease and Pancreatic Cancer. Married to the love of his life Clarann Welker Kincaid on July 29, 1961 in Las Vegas, NV Ed grew up on the farm in Donnellson, Iowa. They moved to Ft. Madison, Iowa where he attended Ft. Madison High School, graduating in 1954. After graduation he enlisted into the US Army. In 1958 he moved to Barstow, CA and worked at Bank of America (where him and Clarann met). In 1964 he went to work at Ft. Irwin military base at M.A.T.E.S and in the California National Guard where he retired in 1995. In retirement, Ed and Clarann bought a motorhome and traveled the USA, loving every day of it. In 2008 they bought a home in Earp, CA right on the Colorado River. In 2023 they moved to Victorville, CA and resided there until his passing. Ed loved to travel, play golf, dance and try to hit every casino they went by in their travels. He was the life of any gathering. He loved to have fun. Ed was always available to his kids, chaperoning and chief taxi driver taking them anywhere they needed to be. Family vacations were spent in Iowa and Illinois visiting family, trips with the boat to the Colorado River and anywhere else Clarann decided she wanted to go, he always agreed and went along. Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Muriel Kincaid, Brother, Donald Kincaid, Sisters, Velva Stout, Eleanor Simmons, Irene Saunders, Doris Fasanelli and Ethel Nolte. Ed is survived by his wife, Clarann Kincaid of 64 years, Son, Matt C. Kincaid (Trudi) Barstow, CA, Daughter, Jacklyn L. Depue (Don) Barstow, CA, Son, Jeffrey W. Kincaid (Michelle) Louisville, KY Grandchildren: Brian Depue (Joelle), Michael Flores, Kevin Depue (Rachel), David Depue (Katy), Jacob Kincaid, Joshua Kincaid, Domingo Gonzales, Jesse Flores, Jeffrey Kincaid (Grace), Logan Kincaid. Great Grandchildren: Ashlynn Depue, Landen Depue, Jessica Depue, Lila Kincaid, Lily Depue, Jeffrey Kincaid, Jack Depue, Jack Kincaid, John Edward Kincaid (due anyday) Brother LeRoy Kincaid (Rozella), Sister Susie West (AJ) and many many nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA with full military honors. Dates are pending at this time.
